Principal components analysis, linear regression and multi-level regression using R: Replication and extension of Lin, Chai and Jong (2019)

Abstract

This report replicates and extends analyses conducted in Lin, Chai, and Jong (2019), to introduce a number of packages that can be used with R for data analysis, reporting and visualization. In particular, it shows how R can be used to visualize Likert scale data, and to conduct and report the results of principal components analysis, simple linear regressions, and multilevel regression analysis.
